Assembly Terms and Conditions

We're always more than happy to help you with your assembly needs, however keep in mind that the following actions are excluded from our assembly service: electrical work, customer wall mounting.

All assembly for the furniture will be done in house in our facility and delivered to the customer . Charges of each furniture as quoted below.

All our assembled item will have warranty on assembly and product for one year from the date of purchase.

Our product assembled by customer have one year product warranty but no assembly warranty .


Here are the warranty details for assembled furniture from Ecolife Furniture Wholesaler Pty Ltd (EFW):

1. In-House Assembled Furniture:

  • Warranty: One year
  • Coverage: Both the assembly and the product itself
  • Conditions: Assembly is done by EFW's team at their facility.

2. DIY Assembled Furniture:

  • Warranty: One year
  • Coverage: Only the product, **not** the assembly
  • Conditions: Assembled by the customer.


The warranties ensure that if there's any defect in the product or assembly (for in-house assembled items), EFW will take responsibility within one year from the purchase date.

Here are the ways you can book in an assembly service:

  • If purchasing online, you can add the service to your shopping cart when checking out with your products on our website. Please note this option only applies to when you are purchasing products (i.e. you can't purchase assembly by itself).
  • You can purchase assembly in-store.
In any occasion customer have opt to DIY their purchased item and found they unable to complete their assembly at home we still able to do the assembly service but under terms and conditions below.
  1. A call out fee of $45 applied for each call to access the condition of the furniture partly fixed. Only partly fixed furniture which is not damaged will be assembled by the assembler.
  2. If the Partly finished furniture is deemed damaged or unable to assemble the assembler will notify the customer ,Efw is not liable for any damage cost by the customer while fixing the furniture.
  3. Our assembler will fix the partly finished furniture to their best ability if its not damaged by the customer.
  4. Charges for full assembly for each item will be charge .Please see our assembly charges below
    Bedframe $80 Aud
    Night stand/side table/coffee table/ $25 Aud
    Chest Drawers/ TV Unit $30 Aud
    Multipurpose Cabinet $45 Aud

EFW Assemblers will only assemble EFW furniture and can not be booked through EFW to assemble outside retailers furniture. EFW assemblers does not include any kitchen installation works.


Do I need to attach furniture to my wall?

Some products will indicate that it needs to be wall attached to prevent tipover. In this case it is mandatory to secure the furniture to the wall for safety reasons
Please check your product information and assembly instructions which will indicate whether the item needs to be secured to a wall. If it indicates that it does, you will need to have this secured for safety reasons. When securing to the wall, the brackets and securing kit will be included with your product. The screws needed to attach the furniture to the wall however will need to be purchased from your local hardware store. These are not supplied as different wall materials will require different screws. Please purchase the screws that are appropriate for your wall type.

Important
All flat pack received ,parts need to be checked by customer for damage and missing parts against the part list supplied before assembly. If found damaged or missing please repack and call us at 1300 31 02 31. We will send you new box and pick up the damaged one . This is our warranty policy. Once item has been assembled and customer claim there is damaged part or missing part, it will be on customers responsibility.
